Senior Conveyancer. Gosport, in-person. £52,000 to £62,000 (depending on experience) A senior fee-earner role in a CQS-accredited residential team, working alongside the firm's co-founder. Wyeth & Paul is a boutique South Coast law firm with offices in Gosport and Lee-on-the-Solent. Owner-run by its three Heads of Department. Lexcel, CQS, Lifetime Lawyers and STEP accredited within year one. You'd be joining the conveyancing team led by Andrew Paul, the firm's Head of Conveyancing and co-founder. Around you sit a Senior Chartered Legal Executive, a Conveyancing Associate and three assistants across the two offices. The work is residential property: freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages, the full mix of files a coastal Hampshire practice handles. You'd run your own caseload from instruction to completion, with PA and assistant support behind you. Local estate agent and lender relationships are a real part of the role. This is for you if: You have at least 5 years of residential conveyancing experience as a Solicitor, FCILEX or Licensed Conveyancer You're confident running a senior caseload independently and can supervise less experienced colleagues You want to build your own profile in Gosport, Lee, Fareham or Portsmouth, not stay invisible inside a regional machine You're comfortable being known to clients, agents and lenders by name The honest part. This is a fully in-person role at the Gosport office. The firm expects fee-earners to participate in client networking and local relationship building. Hybrid is not on offer.
