Commercial Real Estate Solicitor - Basingstoke

RecQuest is working on behalf of an ambitious law firm looking to expand its Commercial Property team and seeking a dedicated Commercial Property Solicitor to join them in Basingstoke.

They are searching for a motivated individual with ideally 1+ years PQE (but NQ solicitors will also be considered), experienced in handling a range of commercial property matters, who can manage and grow an existing caseload. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Advising clients on the acquisition, disposal, and leasing of commercial properties, including drafting and negotiating contracts and leases. 

• Handling property development matters, including option agreements, planning, and infrastructure agreements. 

• Assisting with the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties for commercial use. 

• Managing transactions involving the financing of commercial properties. 

• Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals and disputes. Conducting due diligence, including title investigations and searches. 

What They Offer: 

• Competitive salary range: £45,000+

• Full-time, permanent role 

• Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 

• Hybrid considered

What We’re Looking For: 

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Commercial Property matters. 

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage a busy caseload. 

• Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills. 

• A proactive, business-oriented mindset for marketing and building new client relationships. 

• Previous experience using case management systems.
