About this role

A well established, highly regarded high street law firm in Gosport is looking to appoint an experienced residential conveyancing lawyer to join its close knit property team.

This is not a volume driven or heavily centralised conveyancing environment. The firm operates a genuinely client focused model, serving a loyal local client base built on reputation, relationships, and repeat business. The role will suit a conveyancer who enjoys running files properly, working closely with clients, and being part of a stable, collaborative team.

The Opportunity

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity

  • Work alongside experienced colleagues within a supportive team structure

  • Develop long term relationships with clients and local referrers

  • Operate in a firm where client care and accessibility are central to the culture

  • Benefit from a friendly, grounded, and professionally relaxed working environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced residential conveyancing fee earner

  • Solid recent experience handling residential transactions in practice

  • Comfortable managing files with appropriate supervision

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A clear and confident communicator who enjoys client interaction

Opportunities within genuinely traditional, community rooted firms are becoming increasingly rare. This position offers the chance to join a practice where quality of work and client relationships remain the priority.
